Greek and Bulgarian Projects Selected for 9th Goes to Cannes Initiative

Projects in postproduction from Greece and Bulgaria are among the 26 projects which will be showcased at the 9th hybrid edition of Goes to Cannes within the Cannes Marché du Film, to be held between 9-12 June 2021. The project were presented at Thessaloniki Int. Film Festival and Tallinn Black Nights FF. 

The Black Nights Film Festival is joining Goes to Cannes for the first time, as part of its 25th anniversary and in a year where its industry platform Industry@Tallinn &; Baltic Event also celebrates its 20th anniversary.

The first one is Greek / Bulgarian coproduction Winter with Valmira, directed by Maria Douza. The film is produced by Steficon S.A. in coproduction with Ars Digital Studio, supported by Bulgarian National Film Center

The second one is Bulgarian minority coprodution Citizen Saint (Georgia, France, Bulgaria), directed by Tinatin Kajrishvili. The film is coproduced by the Chouchkov Brothers
